What is scarier than Halloween candy?
Halloween, and holiday seasons in general, can feel scary if you don’t trust yourself around food. I’m here to say: it doesn’t have to be that way!
If you find yourself scared around holiday foods, desserts, sweets, read on for some actionable tips to move away from fear with food:
Instead of limiting scary foods, try incorporating them into your weekly (or daily) routine. Normalize them and eat them alongside other foods.
Focus on making most of your meals complete and balanced (complex carbs, protein, added fats, fiber).
Enjoy your desserts and sweets and other social foods. They are not “bad” and you are not bad for eating them.

Work on developing body trust and truly trusting yourself around foods.
